DisCouRSE Focus Group: The dRTP-PRISM Interface
This focus group, run as a satellite event to the 2026 PRISM Network Conference, is an opportunity for PRISMs and dRTPs to come together and explore these questions openly. Through short talks, discussion sessions, and collaborative activities, participants at every level of experience will share what’s worked, what hasn’t, including pain points and frictions that can arise when different priorities, systems, and working practices meet. A key aim of the day is to turn the collective experience of the group into a short, practical guidance document for the PRISM community. This resource will help PRISMs better support digital research collaborations, and contribute to a clearer, shared understanding of the needs, constraints, and expertise that dRTPs bring to research projects.

DisCouRSE Focus Group: Defining “Green” Leadership in Digital Research
Supported by the DisCouRSE network, the focus group will explore the activities, responsibilities, and roles through which dRTPs can become sustainability leaders in their field. The workshop will focus on: How dRTPs can influence environmental sustainability decisions across digital research How dRTPs can shape workflows and technical practices to reduce environmental impact How sustainable practices can be embedded into digital research without requiring formal authority How the activities and responsibilities of dRTPs can be better defined in relation to environmental sustainability leadership

Jisc Digital Research Community June Meetup: The people who make Digital Research Infrastructure work
Digital Research Technical Professionals (dRTPs) are a crucial part of the computational research community, and a corner stone of Digital Research Infrastructure (DRI). This session will talk about what dRTPs are, where they come from, and what they do, and then present some UKRI-funded DRI projects which provide events and funding for dRTPs and people who are interested in engaging with this space. Come prepared to ask questions and join in discussions! In this meet-up, we’ll hear from Dr Marion Weinzierl, Principal Research Software Engineer at the Institute of Computing for Climate Science at the University of Cambridge, in her role in the Computational Abilities Knowledge Exchange (CAKE) project https://www.cake.ac.uk/.  There will also be representatives from several dRTP related projects.
