Join us for the second session in the CaSDaR Data Stewardship Training series, where we turn our focus to one of the most critical and complex areas of research data management: ethics, data protection, and the handling of sensitive data.

As data stewards, navigating the legal, ethical, and institutional frameworks surrounding research data is an essential part of the role. This session will provide you with the knowledge and practical grounding to handle sensitive data responsibly, ensure compliance with data protection regulations, and uphold the rights and dignity of research participants.

This training session will be run by Digital Curation Centre (DCC).

• Recognise categories of sensitive data and apply appropriate handling procedures
• Align your data stewardship practice with relevant data protection legislation and institutional requirements
