About the Event
On the 11th February 2026, Samantha Pearman-Kanza and Louise Saul attended the in-person Love Research Data event at the University of Oxford, held in the Sheldonian Theatre to present on and exhibit for CaSDaR. Also present were representatives from the Trusted Research Environments Software Stewardship, LabArchives, the Bodleian Library, and the AI Competency Centre amongst others. Attendees were introduced to the teams responsible for delivering Oxford’s Research Data Management services and platforms, as well as those contributing to best practice across the wider UK research sector.
Event Programme
This event comprised presentations, networking opportunities and plenty of time for the participants to visit the different exhibition stands.
Event Audience
This event offered an opportunity for academic researchers, students, IT specialists, research support staff, and anyone with an interest in data to meet colleagues from the Bodleian Libraries, IT Services, the Academic Division, and other parts of the University.
Event Organiser
This event, organised by Damon Strange from the University of Oxford, made Research Data Management (RDM) support teams and services from across the University of Oxford available to anyone interested in discovering how the University nurtures and protects its valuable data collections.
