In this Data Stewards Stories session, Dr Agnes Jasinska from the Digital Curation Centre will provide an overview of her career in supporting international Data Stewardship, as well as her wide ranging interests in the responsible use and sharing of data. This session will have a 30 minute presentation from Agnes, followed by an opportunity for audience members to ask questions. Join us to hear more from Agnes about how she developed her skills and how this informed her career in Stewarding data.

Audience

This webinar would be ideal for individuals who are working in roles involving data management planning, management of research or data processes within organisations, or researchers who have an interest into moving into the role of Data Steward.

Speaker Biography

 Agnes holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience and has over ten years of experience working with various types of research data, both as a scientist and a data services specialist. Her current interests focus on research data management across the project lifecycle, including the preservation, sharing, and reuse of data to maximize its impact in accordance with the Open Science and FAIR principles. She is also interested in data ethics and technology ethics more generally. In her free time, Agnes is an avid reader and occasional writer of science fiction, and she enjoys hiking, travel, and studying Spanish.
