SUMMARY:Research Data Alliance Plenary 27
DESCRIPTION:Registration is now open for the RDA Plenary 27! Early Bird rates end 27 August\, but tickets are continuously available. Register now https://www.rd-alliance.org/plenaries/p27/registration-p27/  \nRDA’s 27th Plenary is coming to London on 6-8 October 2026. Three days bringing together researchers\, data scientists and infrastructure builders from around the world. Whether you’re new to RDA or a long-time member\, first-time plenary attendee or a familiar face\, there’s a place for you here.  \nThe plenary’s theme: shaping a global open research commons\, a stronger\, more connected\, more sustainable open research ecosystem for how research data gets managed\, shared and reused.  \nAcross three days of sessions\, work that stalled years ago is restarting\, and topics never discussed before are finally getting their moment. Programme sessions are grouped by theme\, making it easy to find what interests you.  \nTo help you see what’s on offer\, the entire programme has been broken down day by day. And for the first time at the RDA Plenary\, 13 researchers will pitch new ideas in search of collaborators. Catch it all here.   \nWant the full picture first? Browse the complete summary of every session here.  \nThe Research Data Alliance (RDA) is a global community organization started in 2013 by the European Commission\, the US National Science Foundation and National Institute of Standards and Technology\, and the Australian Department of Innovation. Its goal is to enable the sharing and re-use of data by enabling knowledge exchange. The RDA vision is for invested stakeholders to openly share and reuse data across technologies\, disciplines\, and countries to address the grand challenges of society.   \nThe RDA consists of working groups and interest groups\, each of which focus on different challenges in supporting the sharing and re-use of data.
